Dalu Dunes was a unique opportunity for Green Dynasty to create a magnificent Links style course whilst helping to resort the shifting dunes of the Gobi Desert. Located north of Ordos in Inner Mongolia, we were presented with numerous difficult construction hurdles such as extreme weather in Winter with temperatures reaching -30 degrees, a ground freeze down to one meter and a growing season of only 6 months. With only 2 seasons to produce a world class course, Green Dynasty engineered a construction program allowing us to work through winter with designated jobs carried out inside and built onsite during period of heavy snow fall.  The end result delivered the project as planned and on schedule.
